Jonas Brothers to Perform at First NFL Regular-Season Game in Australia

The Jonas Brothers will perform at halftime of the first NFL regular-season game in Australia when the San Francisco 49ers face the Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on September 11.

The performance will mark the band’s appearance at one of the NFL’s international games as the league stages its first regular-season fixture in Australia.

In a statement, the Jonas Brothers shared, “We couldn’t be more excited to perform at halftime during the NFL’s first-ever regular season game in Australia.”

“Playing at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of such passionate Australian fans is an incredible honour. We can’t wait to be part of this historic moment and celebrate with everyone in the stadium and watching around the world,” the band continued. 

The NFL game will be part of a wider series of events taking place in Melbourne around the league’s Australian debut. The NFL Kickoff Festival will run from September 10-12 at Melbourne Park. The festival will include a watch party for the Seattle Seahawks’ game against the New England Patriots.

The festival will also feature performances from Australian artists Peking Duk, Grinspoon and Sneaky Sound System.

The Melbourne game will be the first NFL regular-season fixture held in Australia and will bring the league’s regular-season competition to the country for the first time.
