Ricky Martin and Brazilian DJ Pedro Sampaio will headline the halftime show at the NFL’s first regular-season game in Rio de Janeiro on September 27.
The performance will take place at Maracanã Stadium during the Baltimore Ravens’ matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. The Rio game is part of the NFL’s expanded international schedule for the 2026 season. The league will stage regular-season games in seven countries across four continents as it continues to build its presence outside the United States.
For Martin, the upcoming performance adds another appearance to his long history with the NFL. The singer most recently appeared during Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show earlier this year, joining the Puerto Rican artist for a performance of “LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAII.”

In a statement, Martin shared, “Being part of another historic NFL event alongside Pedro Sampaio is incredibly exciting, especially because it brings me back to one of my favorite places in the world: Rio. There’s nothing quite like the energy of the Brazilian people.”
The Rio halftime show is one of several musical performances planned as part of the league’s 2026 international expansion. The Jonas Brothers are scheduled to perform at the NFL’s first regular-season game in Australia on September 11.
The league has not yet announced halftime performers for its other international games in London, Madrid, Mexico City, Munich and Paris.
The Ravens and Cowboys will meet at Maracanã Stadium on September 27, with kickoff scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET. The game will mark the NFL’s first regular-season contest in Rio de Janeiro.
