Wembley Stadium Sets Attendance Record During Biggest Concert Season

Wembley Stadium has completed the largest summer concert season in its history after welcoming more than 2.5 million music fans to 34 shows between June and September.

The 90,000-capacity London stadium increased its concert schedule by about 30% compared with 2025, when it presented 26 shows. This year’s program established a venue record for the number of concerts held during a single calendar year.

Diljit Dosanjh brought the season to an end September 12 with a performance from his “Aura” world tour. The concert made the Punjabi singer and actor the first South Asian artist to headline Wembley Stadium.

The summer began June 6 with Capital’s Summertime Ball, which featured RAYE, Niall Horan, Calvin Harris, Jason Derulo, Myles Smith, Lola Young and Sienna Spiro.

Harry Styles then began a 12-concert engagement at Wembley on June 12 as part of his “Together, Together” tour. Guinness World Records recognized the series as the longest residency by a musician at the stadium during one continuous run.

Styles completed the residency July 4, surpassing the 10-show record set by Coldplay in 2025. He and members of his touring crew received an official Guinness World Records certificate onstage following the final concert.

My Chemical Romance followed with three performances tied to the 20th anniversary of “The Black Parade.” The concerts were the band’s largest headlining shows in the United Kingdom.

Bruno Mars played six Wembley dates during his “Romantic” tour, while The Weeknd presented five August concerts from his “After Hours Til Dawn” tour.

Country singer Luke Combs also reached a venue milestone by becoming the first solo country artist to headline Wembley Stadium. Combs performed on three consecutive nights during the London stop of his “My Kinda Saturday Night” tour and received Guinness World Records recognition.

Bon Jovi returned in September for three concerts on its “Forever” tour. The appearances marked the band’s fourth separate engagement at Wembley, including two visits to the original stadium before it closed in 2000.

The stadium’s schedule extended beyond music. Wembley hosted the AEW All In: London professional wrestling event on August 30, bringing the total to 35 major events across a 98-night period.

“This has been an incredible summer for Wembley Stadium, made even more special by the millions of fans who have joined us,” Wembley Stadium director Mark Lynch said.

Lynch said welcoming more than 2.5 million concertgoers demonstrated the scale of events the national stadium can now deliver. He also pointed to the increase from 26 concerts in 2025 as evidence of Wembley’s continued growth as an international entertainment venue.

The 34-show total exceeded a record that had stood for only one year. Lynch said the latest results provided a strong foundation for the stadium’s future live entertainment business.

With the concert calendar completed, Wembley is shifting its attention back to sports. Upcoming events include England’s UEFA Nations League home matches and the first American college football game staged at the stadium, scheduled for September 19.
