Ayra Starr to Headline 2026 NFL London Game Halftime Show

Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has been announced as the halftime performer for the Philadelphia Eagles’ matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, October 11, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

“I am so excited to perform at the NFL halftime show in London,” Starr said in a statement. “London is one of my favorite places in the world and to bring Starrgirl to the NFL global stage is a dream come true for me. I can’t wait to see you guys there!”

The appearance reflects the NFL’s increasing focus on music as part of its overseas events, particularly in London, which has become one of the league’s most established international markets.

Tim Tubito, the NFL’s senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment, said the London games have become a key part of the league’s international strategy.

“The NFL London games are the foundation of everything we have built internationally, and the halftime show has become one of the biggest moments which makes these events so special,” Tubito said.

He also pointed to London’s music scene and the growing influence of African artists in the city.

“London is one of the most influential music cities in the world, and African music has been at the center of that conversation for years now,” Tubito said. “Ayra Starr is a generational talent with a real connection to fans in this market, and building on the halftime shows we have staged in London in recent seasons, she is the right artist to carry that momentum forward.”

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. BST, or 9:30 a.m. ET. Starr’s performance will be presented by American Express and is one of seven halftime shows planned by the NFL during the 2026 season, a record for the league.

Notably, the London performance is part of a broader slate of music programming tied to the NFL’s international schedule. Ricky Martin and Brazilian DJ Pedro Sampaio are set to headline the halftime show at the league’s first regular-season game in Rio de Janeiro on September 27, while the Jonas Brothers are scheduled to perform at the NFL’s first regular-season game in Australia on September 11.
